Applications
Wherever there is a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) and is exposed to the outdoor elements, there is a need to protect that PCB from humidity, moisture, or corrosion even from Salt Air. We here at H2O Block have found that solution and it is created by NanoflowX. What we do is find the right way to apply the solution and add more protection on the interior and exterior, but without making the device bulkier or changing the aesthetic. This is the hardest thing in technology; to change and protect a product so well, but without seeing it. This is what we do, and have been since 2014.
Today, Nanocoating Technology is being used and tested for the use in the defense and aerospace industry sectors. Nanocoating Technology offers protection against extreme humidity, and corrosion in just about any equipment that has Printed Circuit Boards (PCB). This helps save time in downtime repairs, saving cost of replacements and inconvenience failures.
Nanotechnology in the Home Automation Industry
Nanotechnology is considered new in the Home Automation industry and is untapped on the potential of converting every electronic unit to be safe for outdoor use. Things that can be treated range from speakers, TVs, video extenders, remotes, and so much more. The potential is unlimited in what can be treated to last in the outdoors. We started the Home Automation industry back in 2014 and only scratched the surface.
Example of top brands.
- Sonos speakers
- Samsung products, including TVs
- LG products, including TVs
- Crestron products
- RTI / URC / Logitech Remotes
Nanotechnology in the Marine Industry
Nanotechnology is considered a must in all marine applications. Just about every ship, large and small has control systems and PCB boards that need protection. This will help from corrosion based on salt-air and extreme moisture in the air. By coating the electronic boards, it will help from down time in repairs and finding parts. Many times ships, and boats are down for over 6 months due to maintenance required from the salt-air damage.
Nanotechnology in the PCB Industry
Nano-coating technology requires a special process, which provides PCBs with a waterproof layer. This waterproof layer of nano-coating can protect electronic parts from problems such as short circuit or damage while in-contact with liquid. Nano-coating also strengthens PCBs’ durability and increases the life span of electronics by protecting against water, corrosion, salt spray, dust, humidity, bacteria, and more.
